Refund policy

1. Introduction

This document is the Choose Play Refund Policy (“Policy”).

2. All refund rights under both Commonwealth and State law apply

All of the items sold on our Site come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonable foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have an item repaired or replaced if the item failed to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If the failure is minor, we reserve our right to offer to replace only.

3. When you change your mind

We have a 30-day return policy, which means that you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return if you have changed your mind.  

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase(including financial statements such as a bank statement or credit card statement).

To seek a return, you can contact us at hi@chooseplay.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send the item. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

4. Excluded change of mind items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, if you change your mind. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

5. Damaged items

Please inspect the item you have ordered upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you have received the wrong item.
