Weighted Lap Bag - Poly Pellet Filling by Sensory Matters

Occupational Therapists often recommend weighted products as a sensory tool. Weighted Lap Bag - Poly Pellet Filling by Sensory matters is designed by an OT. Children with sensory processing disorder, autism as well as ADHD can benefit from using this product. By providing deep pressure touch stimulation(DPTS) they are useful for calming a child who is experiencing sensory overload, or for helping with focus and concentration. We have them in 2 colours - blue and black. Quality double layer construction, machine washable, and can be used at home, at school or while travelling.

We stock the following weights - 1.5kg, 2.0kg & 2.5kg. It's important that you consult you child's OT for which weight they recommend. We can also supply custom orders if your child's OT recommends a different weight or size to what you see in our store. 

We also stock Weighted Lap Bag - Stainless Steel Filling. The main differences between poly pellet and stainless steel filling is  price, bulk and fit. Poly pellet filling is a little cheaper, more bulky and doesn't fit quite as close to the body.
